Job Well Done!

Congratulations to each and every one involved in the creation of Sentient. We had 2 great audiences for our 2 screenings, many proud parents, and smiling students.  Thank you for all of your hard work. Now it is time for thank you notes, file storage, archiving, documentation and rest.

There was a lot of still image and video documentation done. Look for an email from Lina with suggestions for how to manage it all. but for starters please upload what you can to the dropbox. You will all want a clean version of the documentation for your portfolios.

You are awesome!

Last Steps

Dear Amazing Class,

How are you?I hope you got some rest after this hard semester. So far we have 127 people RSVP. This is great! Please invite your friends and spread the word, so we can fill the planetarium twice. Your work deserves to be seen.

Thank you video editors for uploading your files on time. The next step is to upload the sound no later than Friday.

Below are some of last steps that I would like to discuss.

– First  Documentation:

The last class I hand picked some of you to do the video documentation for all the screening because we didn’t have too many volunteers… I feel there was not much enthusiasm from the class. Documentation of your wok is very important, but  at the end it’s for you.  I think every group should be responsible for their part, this way they are also responsible for the own editing.

What do you think? Any takers?

– Second plan ahead for next week:

* Tuesday 28th for dress rehearsal we should arrive at the usual time 4:15

4:15 Kerri and Megan should be setting up the lights

4:40 we are starting our screening with no interruptions

6:00 second run

6:40 Kerri and Megan uninstall the lights

NOTE:   If we have volunteers for the documentation  let me know  ASAP so I can connect you with Eric to reserve the cameras.

* Wednesday 29th

5:00 The people helping with the production Seating, MC, Programs, Still Photography  should arrive. Nicole D, Kelly, Nicole B and Esther

Last, I will be organizing the RSVP early next week. Let me know if you need to add names of people you know are coming but didn’t have the chance to RSVP.

Please let me know if I’m missing something

Best
